Reception from Conakry at International Airport Ahmed Sekou Toure, meet our team and transfer to grand hotel. Onernight at Grand hotel
After breakfast , we discover the National Museum of Sandervalia in Kaloum, visit the bustling Autonomous Port of Conakry and local ,the Boulbinet port and the stunning Fayçal Mosque – Relax on the beaches of Rogbané and Benarès – Stroll through Kaporo Forest (Kakimbo) – Explore the historic Olivier de Sanderval hut.
After lunch , we continus to discover the Kassa Island where we could visit the “Sourigbé” to locals, a sacred place for the people of Kaloum. Experience the serene beauty of this island, named from the Portuguese word “casa” meaning “house”then combact to conakry.
Onernight at Grand hotel
Early morning after breakfast, we begin our day tour with the cathedral, the caloum Market, the grand mosque of Conakry.
Stop on way for lunch at Jardin d’Eden Hotel, the continue 30 minutes drives to the border where you will meet our Sierra Leone team.
Just after crossing the border into Sierra Leone, arrival in Kambia town and where we could organize a cultural activity of two different tribes will be performed. Masquarade and Balangi performances of the Limba and Susu tribes of Kambia.
Continuation to Freetown in evening, Arrival and installation in hotel in evening. Overnight at hotel Barmoi
After breakfast, City Tour of Freetown to see the historic and landmark places that made us as a nation, we will assist a National Dance Troop Cultural backed with African Magical Performance. In the center of the town, we will visit the National Museum, Peace and Monument Museum, The Maroon Church, St Georges Cathedral (and you will see the Queen Elizabeth II signature) during her Royal visit to Sierra Leone in 1961. We will also visit the Big Market (A real African Gift’s Market) where you will see our many Arts and Crafts been display for sale.
After lunch , we will begin this beautiful Island is a collection of 3 Islands (DUBLIN, RICKETTS, & MES-MEHEUX). The visit to Banana Island is to see an example of a real Slave Settlement of Freed Slaves to Sierra Leone and how they live in their typical village settings since the 19th Century. This Island is a typical descendant of freed African-Americans, West Indians mostly from Jamaica just as the Maroons.
The Banana Island because of the strategic location on the Atlantic Ocean, it serves as a transit point of Slaves during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and you will see where they were thrown when they die. Because of its geographical location in Sierra Leone, the activities of Tourism have well been established there and it has some form of relaxation on the beach front of the main DUBLIN and comeback to hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, we will travel to Rogbonko Village and this place is situated in the Northern part of Sierra Leone. Rogbonko is rich in Cultural Diversities where you will see a display of real traditional activities of the Northern people of Sierra Leone. In Rogbonko Village, there is nothing one could see there if not all about tradition and a typical village setting of Sierra Leone and a grand Cultural Performance will be hosted to welcome you.
we will pass the night in Rogbonko to get the feelings of the night in a typical Rural Village. Overnight at Traditional Huts or Camping
After the breakfast, we will travel to Kabala Township known as a (Land of Powerful Mixtures).
Upon arrival, we will do few hiking/trekking on top of the (WARA WARA MOUNTAIN) to see the beautiful landscape of the township and far away. On this Mountain, it was on this mountain that the people of the township used to hide each time they get attack from invaders during colonial time and it’s also on this mountain that their forefathers used to plead with their gods for food during harvesting of their crops. This Mountain is a typical cultural and traditional place of the people of Kabala and a cultural activity will be displayed by the Kouranko Tribe.
After the visit on the mountain, we will also visit a (FARM LAND) in Senekedugu Village to see what the traditional people do when they want to start a new harvest season. We will see a display of their gods of harvest who helped them to gain more crops after plantation.
Overnight at hotel Dakunaia or similar
After the breakfast, we will set to travel to the Southern Part of Sierra Leone in Bo.
If we arrival in Bo earlier, we will do the tour of Bo City which is the second City in Sierra Leone after Freetown. In Bo, you will see the different types of structures built in the North are different from the ones in the North. If we have enough time, we will do the traditional performances of the Mende Tribe of the Southern part of Sierra Leone or we can organize it in the morning before heading to Tiwai Island and on our way to Tiwai Island, we will visit an artisanal diamond mining site to see how the locals also are involved mining activities in Sierra Leone. The Mende Tribe in Sierra Leone are descendants of the Mane Empire of Mali that came and settled in Sierra Leone.
Overnight at Dohas hotel or similar
After the breakfast, we will travel to Tiwai Island. Tiwai Island is a wildlife and community – led tourism and cultural site within the heart of the Upper Guinea forest of West Africa, in South-Eastern parts of Sierra Leone. This Island is home to a population of pygmy hippopotamus, over 135 different species of birds and one of the highest concentration and diversity of primates in the world.
On this Island, we will do tour of the Island down and up the rivers to see if we can be fortunate to see any pygmy hippopotamus and many other species on the Island. After the daily activities on the island, we will sleep over and in the morning, cross over to do the cultural performance and after we head to the Liberian Border.
Overnight at guest house or similar
Breakfast and departure after the cultural performance to the border, after crossing and enter in Liberia, we will first visit Bomi County for traditional Culture and Mask performance and also visit the Grand Cape Mount County to see the largest lake Piso in Liberia. After the visit, we will drive straight to the hotel in Monrovia.
Overnight at hotel Tropicana Beach or similar
After breakfast, city tours: the national Museum, the Providence Island, the fruit market and other markets.
Afternoon, we will take you to a beautiful nearby beach and spend the rest of the day there enjoying the eco-friendly nature of the environment.
Diner and transfer to the airport
